The students and teachers from Colegiul Tehnic “Traian Vuia” Galați, Romania have worked together to create a different and special type of Christmas tree this year. They intended to prove and show that it is possible to enjoy a Christmas tree without affecting nature.

Actually, our Christmas tree was meant to be a warning about the destruction of nature and, at the same time, an urge to find and use materials that can successfully replace the natural ones.

Thus, our students came up with the idea of making a Christmas tree out of empty shoe boxes wrapped in coloured paper coming from old wrapping paper while the decorations were coke cans, corks, old disks and CDs, burnt bulbs, cartridges, batteries, cardboard glasses, plastic bottles, etc. and, of course, recycled paper garlands.

In the pictures , you can see our eco Christmas tree in the process of carrying it out.

The result is a wonderful eco-Christmas tree!

Merry Christmas to you all!
