The First Transnational Project Meeting on the 21st–25th November, 2016 in Konya in Turkey.
Kelme “Aukuras” basic school has been participating in the strategic partnerships for schools Erasmus+ project “A Call From Schools: “For The Less Destruction, Let’s Reduce The Consumption” since the 1st of October 2016. The duration of the project is 24 months (up to 30/09/2018). The goal is to get acquainted with EU politics of environment as well as contribute while implementing it. There are 7 schools from 6 countries involved in this project. Two schools are from Turkey and the rest countries include one school each – Greece, Spain, Romania, Italy, Lithuania. The communities of the mentioned schools are learning responsibly to save the sources of nature and solve the problems of ecology.
On the 21st–25th of November the first transnational project meeting of the partner schools took place in Konya in Turkey. Ieva Siliune, the coordinator in the school, and Asta Zavadskiene, the headmistress, represented Kelme “Aukuras” basic school. The representatives of the partner schools attended meetings in Meram Mehmet–Munevver Kurban Anatolian secondary school that is the coordinator school of the project. They also visited Yuksel Bahadir Alayli Science and Art Centre in Konya in Turkey.
